Hey Parents!

My name is Brittany. I’m a wife and a mom of three rock solid sleepers who happily climb into bed every night and sleep until 7 AM. My evenings are a time to recharge and relax (and clean, and catch up on work, and scroll on my phone), and then I get a solid eight hours of uninterrupted sleep….

……and in a few weeks, that’s going to be your reality too.

My Story

“I will never forget the first time I realized how much sleep mattered…

So there I was, in an important meeting at my serious corporate job in New York, and I heard someone snoring next to me. Yes, some casual 11 AM snoring in a conference room. A very senior member of our team had FALLEN ASLEEP. I gently kicked his chair and he startled awake and whispered “sorry I was up all night with the baby.” Holy Moly. Unbeknownst to him & everyone else, I was six weeks pregnant with my first child. I decided right then and there that I would, under no circumstances, be the one passed out in a board meeting a year later.

Thus began my journey as a sleep student. I began devouring everything I could find about infant sleep. Using a combination of scientific research and my innate instincts, I developed and implemented a unique strategy that had my oldest son sleeping through the night and taking great naps by three months old. Suddenly, a lot of sleepless Moms in my life wanted to know exactly how I’d done it. Turns out, while I was good at my corporate job - I was incredible at this. I was born to help babies & kids sleep.

Now, to be clear, I am still a mere mortal. I’ve had my share of parenting challenges just like you. Newborns need to eat a lot! In the middle of the night! Getting a new baby to learn to breastfeed can be SO HARD. And don’t even get me started on the Mom guilt and sibling squabbles. But having an entire family that is well rested every. single. day?

That makes the parenting game a whole lot easier.

After my oldest son’s early success with sleep, I quickly went from a well rested Mom to a well rested advice giver to anyone and everyone I knew. After spending years fielding late night calls from stressed out friends with sleepless kids, I decided it was time to support struggling parents outside my immediate circle. I began my formal training and certification in 2019, and have since taken more than two thousand families from exhausted to energized in a matter of weeks.

My Approach

This is not a sleep juice cleanse. You will not have a great sleeper for a few weeks and then revert back to old habits and have to start all over again. You will gain a better understanding of what your child needs, the confidence to carry it forward when we part ways.

Grounded in data, built with compassion.

There are a few things that set me and my process apart:

Hop On The “Do Less” Express
My plans work in part because they’re simple. You are tired. You don’t need 10 options to choose from. The most common feedback I get from clients is how uncomplicated I make things. You don’t need a snoo, a slumber pod, a sticker chart, a clock that changes colors, or even blackout curtains (seriously).  I’ll be direct about what’s worth your time. You’ll never be overwhelmed or sold on things you don’t need.

It’s Not For Now, It’s Forever
My recommendations are not only meant to carry you through the process for 2 weeks, but for years to come. We talk a lot about the why. Why certain types of sleep are harder than others (hello naps & early AMs!), what growth spurts really are (& why you shouldn’t be scared of them), how to handle things like travel, time zones changes, daylight savings, sickness, teething, & more. Your child will have a strong sleep foundation, and you will have the tools to keep it strong.

Methods To Match Your Parenting
You may have heard terms like “cry it out” and “gentle sleep” in your late night google searches. Please know - these are not clinically recognized terms, nor are they tied to any specific method taught in reputable sleep training programs. These are marketing terms, created to sell you on one idea or another (and usually intended to make you feel morally superior to other parents.) I gotta admit - smart sales strategy! But, it’s disingenuous. They are confusing terms for tired parents, and I don’t use them. For concierge clients, the method we used is based on your parenting philosophies, your child’s age and temperament, and a number of other factors. For course clients, you can expect a middle of the road method, where you have the opportunity to interact with your child briefly as they work through the process. More importantly - the actual method is only about 30% of my process. It’s what happens outside of the crib or bed that really makes a difference.

Big Picture
Often clients tell me their goal is just longer stretches of night sleep. My goals are much bigger! I expect my clients to see improvements across all facets of their daily life - sleep, eating, behavior, routines, etc.

Big Sister Energy
I want nothing more than for my clients to succeed. The reason over 80% of them come back for a future child or service is because they trust my process, & me. I will never make you feel guilty or judged. You will always be treated with kindness, respect, and care. When you win - I win!

One And Done
There is nothing slow and painful about working with me. We make all the changes, all at once. This is important to me as your child’s advocate. While doing things gradually, piecemeal, may make sense for an adult, it doesn’t for a baby or toddler. All changes feel big to them - so we package them as one big change, and rest assured, life will change for the better very quickly!

Evidence-Based
I follow the data always. If you’re a Emily Oster fan, you’ll be a fan of me too. You know how you feel when you read or watch a really triggering reel or Facebook post that makes you feel like a terrible parent? Consider me the antidote. There are no sweeping generalizations or dramatic accusations here. No mental gymnastics will be required to understand why I suggest what I do.

Discreet
My work with clients is a highly personal one, based on mutual respect and honesty. I know you may be coming to me at a time in your life that feels incredibly hard and vulnerable. You may be struggling with postpartum, or your marriage may not be in a great place. You can expect the utmost discretion, empathy, patience, and professionalism from me.

“From our first phone call, I knew Brittany was the real deal. The advice she gave us was not always specifically sleep related. Her holistic approach - focusing on the WHOLE child - made such a huge difference.

I felt that I often word-vomited all my anxieties to Brittany, but somehow she was able to wade through it all and get to the crux of my questions. Her emails were always so focused and direct. It's a gift! Brittany was the third sleep consultant we have worked with, and finally I can walk away from the experience feeling confident. I know how to handle any sleep challenge that comes our way, we are prepared and have the tools to handle it all! And because kids are full of surprises, it is such a relief to know that Brittany’s there to reach out to if we ever need. I love that she doesn't delegate clients to another consultant. We get to work with HER!”
